TWENTY-SIX DEGREES CELSIUS
Conceptual Design PROJECT: Book, watch, clothing, hang tags, stickers and Poster design
This multi-media project explores the idea of acclimatizing to the Savannah, GA climate from my hometown of Toronto, ON. My own challenges with training for a half marathon in my first few months in the South shaped the narrative built around the design prompt of the seven-day weather forecast. Seeking to make the mundane meaningful, the narrative throughout the book explores my real-time thoughts and obstacles faced during a week of running.
Imagery and text from the book expand across different media, including a digital watch face for Garmin watches compatible with Garmin Connect IQ technology, posters, stickers and custom-printed tank tops, including a redesign of each shirt’s tag.
